Itinerary

day 1: into the wilderness – windhoek to etosha

Your adventure begins at 07:00 with a pickup from your Windhoek accommodation. After a quick briefing, we head north, stopping briefly in Otjiwarongo for supplies. Enjoy a light lunch as we travel.

Upon entering Etosha National Park, we embark on a game drive to Halali Camp. Etosha, spanning over 22,000 square kilometers, is home to 114 mammal species, 350 bird species, 110 reptile species, and countless insects. We’ll stop at various waterholes, hoping for sightings of the park’s diverse wildlife.

Arriving at our lodge just before sunset, you’ll settle into your comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. As night falls, visit the floodlit waterhole nearby to observe nocturnal animals like elephants and black rhinos.

day 2: dawn’s embrace – etosha exploration

Start early to catch the park’s wildlife at its most active. After a hearty breakfast, we set out again to explore more of Etosha, stopping at numerous waterholes where animals gather for a drink. A highlight of the day is the vast Etosha Pan, a 4,700 square kilometer expanse visible from space.

We exit Etosha at Anderson Gate by sunset and drive a short distance to our next lodge. Here, relax in your spacious room with modern en-suite facilities, and enjoy a delicious dinner.

day 3: desert dreams – etosha to swakopmund

After breakfast, we depart at 07:30 for the Skeleton Coast, traveling through the scenic Damaraland. This area is known for its striking landscapes and towering pink granite koppies. We’ll meet local Himba, Herero, and Damara people selling handcrafted souvenirs at roadside stalls.

We stop for a picnic lunch under Namibia’s highest mountain, the Brandberg, before reaching the chilly Atlantic Ocean and the Skeleton Coast. A visit to the 2008 shipwreck of The Zeila offers a perfect photo opportunity.

Arriving in Swakopmund, with its mix of colonial architecture and desert charm, your guide will drop you off at your accommodation and recommend excellent local restaurants. Swakopmund, blending relaxation and adventure, is the perfect end to your Namibian journey.
