Itinerary

day 1: into the wild

Start your journey at dawn, with a collection from your Windhoek accommodation at 07:00. After a brief meeting, we head north, stopping briefly in the charming town of Otjiwarongo for last-minute supplies. Enjoy a light lunch on the move as we make our way to Etosha National Park.

Entering Etosha, we begin our game drive, traversing this vast sanctuary that spans over 22,000 square km and is home to 114 mammal species, 350 bird species, and much more. We aim to arrive at Halali Camp by sunset. Settle into your comfortable room and take a stroll to the floodlit Moringa waterhole, where you can witness elephants and the critically endangered black rhino under the starry African sky.

day 2: secrets of the savannah

Awake with the dawn to maximize your exploration of Etosha. Early morning is prime time for spotting big cats returning from the hunt. After a hearty breakfast at Halali, we continue our quest for wildlife, visiting various waterholes where animals gather for a refreshing drink.

Marvel at the Etosha Pan, a vast, dazzling white expanse covering 4,700 square km. As we exit the park at Anderson Gate near sunset, we make our way to comfortable accommodations just outside the park. Unwind in your spacious room and enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by our guide.

day 3: desert dreams and ocean whispers

After breakfast, we depart at 07:30, heading south through the breathtaking landscapes of Damaraland. This region, renowned for its dramatic scenery, offers encounters with local ladies from the Himba, Herero, and Damara people, often dressed in traditional attire and selling handcrafted souvenirs.

We continue westward, enjoying a picnic lunch under the shadow of Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain. Upon reaching the Skeleton Coast, we stop to photograph the haunting wreck of the Zeila fishing trawler before arriving in Swakopmund. Check into the centrally located hotel, perfect for exploring this historic town’s German colonial architecture and vibrant culture.

day 4: coastal serenade

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Swakopmund. Wander through curio shops, savor the café culture, or join an excursion to Walvis Bay. The lagoon here, a Ramsar site, is famed for its birdlife, especially flamingos. Witness these elegant birds feeding and learn about their fascinating behavior.

In the early afternoon, we head back to Windhoek, taking the scenic route. Enjoy a light lunch en route and absorb the stunning landscapes one last time. Upon arrival in Windhoek, you’ll be dropped off at your accommodation, your heart filled with memories of Namibia’s wild beauty and diverse landscapes.
