Itinerary

day 1: arrival and wildlife wonders – windhoek

Upon arrival at Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport, you’ll be whisked away to the heart of Windhoek. For those arriving before noon, an exciting excursion awaits. Journey to the renowned N/a’an ku se Wildlife Sanctuary, a haven for the rehabilitation of sick, injured, and orphaned animals. Meet majestic creatures such as baboons, caracals, lions, cheetahs, and more as you witness their evening meal. Return to Windhoek for a delightful dinner at one of the city’s top restaurants (dinner is at your own expense).

day 2: into the wild – windhoek / etosha national park 

Your adventure begins with an early pick-up at 7:00 AM. After a brief meeting, we will stop in Otjiwarongo for supplies before entering the vast Etosha National Park. Enjoy a light lunch en route and embark on a thrilling game drive. With 114 mammal species, 350 bird species, and more, Etosha promises unforgettable wildlife sightings. As night falls, visit the floodlit waterhole for a unique nighttime safari experience.

day 3: dawn patrol – etosha park / near anderson gate 

Rise with the sun for an early morning game drive, a prime time to spot big cats. After breakfast, continue exploring Etosha’s numerous waterholes, essential lifelines in this arid landscape. Visit the expansive Etosha Pan, a stunning 4,700 square km white mineral desert visible from space. Exit the park at Anderson Gate near sunset and enjoy a cozy evening.

day 4: scenic routes and coastal views – etosha / swakopmund 

Depart at 7:30 AM, taking the scenic route through Damaraland, known for its striking landscapes and vibrant local culture. Meet Himba, Herero, and Damara artisans selling handmade crafts. Enjoy a picnic lunch under Namibia’s highest mountain, Brandberg, before reaching the dramatic Skeleton Coast. Stop by the Zeila shipwreck for photos and arrive in Swakopmund by late afternoon. Explore this charming town on foot and enjoy dinner at one of Swakopmund’s excellent restaurants (dinner is at your own expense).

day 5: desert dreams – swakopmund

Spend a leisurely morning in Swakopmund, exploring on foot or engaging in thrilling activities like quad biking and sandboarding. Depart mid-morning, crossing the Namib gravel plains and traversing the Kuiseb and Gaub passes. Stop for photos at the Tropic of Capricorn before arriving at our accommodation near Sesriem. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and a delicious dinner prepared over an open fire.

day 6: dunes and canyons – sossusvlei 

Begin your day before dawn to catch the sunrise over the towering dunes of Sossusvlei. Explore the ancient Tsauchab Riverbed, marvel at the eerie beauty of Dead Vlei, and climb some of the world’s highest sand dunes. Visit the iconic Dune 45 and the intriguing Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River over millennia. Return to the accommodation for a relaxing evening.

day 7: farewell to the desert – namib desert 

On your final day, savor the famous apple pie at Solitaire before driving back to Windhoek through scenic mountain landscapes. Arrive mid-afternoon and be dropped off at an specific place (consult us) or your chosen accommodation within Windhoek city limits, bringing your unforgettable Namibian adventure to a close.
